The Missionary of Wall Street: From Managing Money to Saving Souls on the Streets of New York
Stephen Auth
When: Tuesday 27 October 2022, 8AM-9AM EST
Where: Putnam Investments, 100 Federal St Boston, MA 02110
Throughout his papacy Pope Benedict XVI inspired Christians to heed the words of St Paul (1 Cor 9:16): “Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel.” As such he called the faithful to proclaim the “good news” by rediscovering the joy of believing and the enthusiasm for communicating the faith.
For many years Stephen Auth has been an active witness of the faith from his perch high up on Wall Street to the sidewalks of Manhattan and beyond.
Stephen Auth has had a long and storied career on Wall Street, and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Federated Global Equities. But what will surprise you is what else he does: He is a Catholic missionary on the street corners of New York City, where he strives to bring lapsed members back to the faith, one soul at a time.
In our first in person session in more than two years, the Leadership Forum is proud to host Stephen Auth as he shares with us his experiences living a life of faith in a professional climate that doesn’t always welcome gospel teachings and how he so boldly proclaims the truth to so many searching for meaning and purpose in their lives
